Duct Work in a high velocity air movement environment containing abrasive fibers will noticeably last longer with Carbide surfacing with understanding of impingement angle along with temperature and any corrosive in the air stream. Any disturbance of worn components during air flow will interupt product processing and additional cost to parts that are not protected. After fabrication, areas are ground smooth to avoid sharp edges and pinholes to maximize the best coating.
