Proven by ASB Industries’ history, we have continually positioned our research and technical involvement for materials and processes to improve equipment to increase production efficiencies in industrial environments. ASB was instrumental in introducing High-Velocity Oxygen Fuel (HVOF) hard and wear-resistant Carbide Thermal Spray Surfacing for processing in the earlier part of the 1980s. In 1996, ASB licensed a developing process known as “Cold Spray,” which involves spraying metals and alloys, such as copper, aluminum, Stainless steels and Metal Matrix Composites. Applied in a non-combustion clean environment, ultra-pure coatings have laid the foundation for new initiatives, in large part production, aerospace and defense applications and a vast array of commercial and research endeavors. |
