The process is Plasma Transferred Arc (PTA) based on customer specifications. The surface is finished ground to approximately 20Ra with an accurate dimension across the surfaced area and adjacent critical areas. Thermal spray processing are possible options when wear and corrosive environments dictate either carbide, ceramic or metal alloy using one the available processes including Plasma Electric Arc, HVOF or Rokide.
