Enhancing electrical resistance or conductivity

Equipment performance can be enhanced by eliminating electrical conductivity or enhancing the electrical conductivity of many parts within a system. Ceramics are typically used for shielding; copper based materials are used for conductivity. Unusual part configurations can be thermal sprayed.

Reducing high temperature damage

Thermal spray coatings can protect the integrity of parts exposed to high temperatures during production, as well as reduce stress corrosion cracking associated with high temperature altering mechanisms. Selected coatings can also reduce oxide pick-up for rolls used in the glass and steel industries.

Enhancing corrosion resistance

From simple atmospheric corrosion to severe oxidizing vapors and liquids, thermal spray coating can protect substrate structures from severe corrosion damage. Pre- and post-treatment may be utilized to develop a successful corrosion protection system. Corrosion coatings can be cured in our large high-temperature oven.
