ASB
Surfacing Technologies
If you're currently using or considering other surface treatments - such as Welding, Brazing, Soldering, Chrome Plating, Electroplating, Anodizing and Laser Welding - ASB Industries offers many options for a turnkey solution. Customized to your individual needs, our proven technologies include:
HVOF
High Velocity Oxygen Fuel (HVOF) Processes provide extremely
low-porosity surfacing and high bond strengths.
For consistently superior coatings, ASB Industries utilizes:
- Diamond Jet HVOF Process Systems
- Unicoat LF (Liquid Fuel) HVOF System
- Utilizing Six Axis Robots and other dedicated manipulators
Plasma Electric Arc
To apply thermal barriers, abradable and very wear-resistant ceramic coatings, ASB Industries relies on Plasma Electric Arc Thermal Spraying. The process utilizes a nontransferred arc as the source of heat to ionize gas. The plasma energy then melts and propels the coating material to the work piece. This process is used primarily for ceramic surfacing.
Powder, Rokide Rod and Wire Combustion
ASB Industries also uses Powder Combustion, Rokide Rod Combustion, Thermo-Spray and Wire Combustion processes to apply alloys, carbides and ceramic coatings. These processes use a fuel gas mixture to melt the coating material in either a rod, wire or powder material medium. ASB Industries utilizes clean gas technology throughout the facility to optimize premium coating structures.
