This repaired center bore on this 62" Flywheel is finished using Bronze thermal spray processing allowing easy assembly of the main drive shaft.

The low heat thermal spray processing removes any further issues of repairing other areas due to heat distortion compared to other viable but less efficient processing for this specific application. The keyway showed no signs of further repair on initial inspection but care on this area is considered critical to make sure edges are blended on adjacent thermal sprayed areas. ASB Industries services include all in-house machining and thermal spray processing allowing this excellent customer to ASB Industries be part of their entire equipment rebuilding project.
