ASB Industries will be presenting an exhibit focusing on specific applications for Steel Producers. AISTech 2011 will feature international technologies from all around the world. ASB Industries' exhibit and supporting literature will focus on proven applications using a variety of Surfacing Technologies. Discussion topics for those attending will center on these and other related issues.

Cold Spray Action Team (CSAT) Meeting

May 17 & 18, 2011 Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester, MA

ASB Industries will actively participate in this group meeting, sponsored by the Defense Sustainment Consortium and WPI. The Defense Sustainment Consortium was founded in 2000 and is comprised of leaders in industry and government, whose mission is to pilot business processes and technologies that improve and strengthen cross-organizational relationships. The Defense Sustainment Consortium includes key players from Department of Defense operational commands, program offices, logistics commands, depots, procurement, maintenance, engineering and R&D.

Naval Air System Command - NAVAIR

September 27-29, 2011, Hamburg, Germany

ASB Industries will participate in the CGT Exhibit. Our focus will be the High Pressure Cold Spray Production Systems, as well as an array of nozzle designs, including the new smaller Inside Diameter Guns. "Different days, different markets" - for this intensive exchange of expert knowledge, an invitation is being extended to all experts, welcoming them to come to Hamburg for ITSC 2011.

ASB Industries continued our commitment to ISO 9001 quality standards with our annual audit review. An ISO auditor recertified ASB's quality system during the one day visit.

ISNetWorld Compliance

ASB Industries has full compliance to the standards of ISNetworld for customers that require this certification. ISN is a global company that offers services to connect corporations with safe, reliable contractors. ISN collects self-reported conformance information from contractors and suppliers, verifies the accuracy of this information, and reports the results. This allows corporations to select those companies that best meet internal and governmental requirements, while providing contractors and suppliers the opportunity to centralize their conformance information, helping them save time and gain presence in the marketplace.

CTSO Certified Thermal Spray Operator

ASB Industries is petitioning as a charter member of CTSO (Certified Thermal Spray Operator). This newly established Certification is based on equipment certification, as established under the ASM International Thermal Spray Society. Certification provides a self-directed, industry-created hallmark of excellence. This is an industry driven program, built by members of the thermal spray community and based on the needs of the technology providers. The program gives users of thermal spray technologies consistency and confidence in their suppliers.

New Equipment

ASB Industries has recently purchased two 10 ton tow motors as an upgrade to our current factory fleet. Most parts go through a variety of processing procedures in different areas of our facility, and it is of utmost importance to handle your parts carefully, from receiving to shipping and at all stages in between.

New Technical Application Specialist Joins ASB Industries as a Cold Spray Equipment and Application Specialist

Anthony Pecaski has joined ASB Industries as the newest member of our Technical Sales Team, with a focus on CGT High Pressure Cold Spray Equipment sales and support. Anthony's experience in the field of Cold Spray, along with his knowledge of applications, will be a valuable resource for our customers. From government to industrial settings, to a variety of highly technical applications and high production applications where technically advanced High Pressure Cold Spray Processing is required, our customers will benefit greatly from Anthony's knowledge and experience. Anthony's demonstrations of the newest addition to CGT High Pressure Cold Spray Equipment-the CGT 2000 High Pressure Portable Spray System-will exhibit his expertise in the field. Along with the CGT 2000 System, Anthony will also demonstrate the high production CGT Systems giving potential users the understanding of high equipment capabilities
