Head Gland Ring Thermal Spray Rebuild
Over 30 years old, this Head Gland Ring is being finished machined to engineered print dimensions.
The surface is built up with a Nickel Aluminum base coat and a Stainless Steel combustion thermal spray top layer with machine stock for finishing. Replacement cost is over three times the rebuilding cost with delivery of only two weeks. The Combustion Thermal Spray process is chosen for thicker coatings with sufficient mechanical properties to exceed original equipment specifications.
