The surface is built up with a Nickel Aluminum base coat and a Stainless Steel combustion thermal spray top layer with machine stock for finishing. Replacement cost is over three times the rebuilding cost with delivery of only two weeks. The Combustion Thermal Spray process is chosen for thicker coatings with sufficient mechanical properties to exceed original equipment specifications. ASB Industries customer is a rebuilder of high load pressure equipment and utilizes thermal spray coatings through ASB Industries to provide turnkey services on a variety of ongoing projects.
