Ceramic Coated Sleeve for Wear Resistance
Wear resistant ceramic surfacing is applied to Sleeves used for high production wire processing. Wire diameter, hardness and wire chemistry will contribute to a worn surface including grooving that affect wire quality along with frequent maintenance. The application of materials such as Chrome Oxide and Aluminum Oxide using the Plasma Electric Arc System achieve notable results as a well-accepted solution for wire production. Ceramic Sleeves are shown as-sprayed and post-processed to include diamond grinding to achieve engineered surface finish requirements.

Seal surfaces on rotating components may require a wear resistant surface against a seal material made of rubber, composite or metal ring to function in a multitude of applications. Corrosive, hard particles or friction along with--
